Brown Dog Properties was “founded” unofficially 20 years ago when we bought a simple, multi-family rental property in Newport, RI. We quickly sold that and used the proceeds to start buying multi-families in the waterfront neighborhood of Chelsea, MA which we converted to high-end condos.

Six years ago, we made our collaboration and partnership official and formed Brown Dog Properties, LLC. Today we are very focused on building high performance homes that make sense for the way today’s thoughtful buyers live their lives.

Our homes are built to last and perform like a modern home should; efficiently, comfortably and effortlessly. The primary focus of Brown Dog Properties is building high performance, green built homes designed to operate as Net Zero homes and achieve near Passive House standards of building.
